Hello! Today’s card is inspired from this month’s sketch at {BYHCS}, Sketch #75. You can read more details and see the design teams makes (HERE) Here’s the sketch: For my card, I started with an A2 sized vertical side folding card base with Smoky Slate card stock (SU). I used a small sized arch die to cut a piece of DSP from Stampin Up’s - Peaceful Place 12 x 12 paper, then trimmed with a silver glitter border (Recollections). I used the fox and border die to create the snow bank. The fox was stamped in Versafine onyx black ink, and cut using the Peaceful Cabin die. The trees were stamped and layered with two trees behind and one tree in front to create dimension. The fence was cut from Basic Black - cardstock (SU) and tucked between the trees. The sentiment from Stampin Up’s Magical Meadow - was heat embossed in silver and fussy cut. Thanks for stopping by! - Valerie Kaye
I’m glad you stopped by! I have always enjoyed art, and was introduced to card making about 12 years ago. From there, the ability to create a variety of styles provides a therapeutic outlet to each day. You will find several card challenges, and themes which might inspire you to try something new. Enjoy!
