You’re Amazing! TSOT#692

 Hello! I created a card today for Try A Sketch on Tuesday - Challenge #692. To play along, click the link (HERE) For the sketch, I needed a square element for the center focal point.  I had cut a heart out of a panel with rainbow strips earlier in the week, and decided to put this extra piece to use!   The cutting die came from Honey Bee Stamps called - Radiating Heart.  After I ran the panel with the heart die, I ran it through with a square nesting frame. This is a larger square, so the finished card is 5 x 7 inches. I added a piece of scrap book paper with tiny polka dots in the background.  I rotated my strips so they would run horizontally.  Vertically was too hidden!  The dies used for the rounded corner rectangle came from Simon Says Stamp - Artful Palette dies.  (I use these dies all the time!  They are so handy)  I used Coastal Cabana cardstock (SU), and Poppy Parade (SU). Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge #663

 Good Morning!   Today's card is part of Try a Sketch on Tuesday's bi-weekly sketch.  To join in on the fun, please click the link here:   TSOT-#663 I began making this card using Penny Black's So Much Love Stamp Set.  I used two pieces of pre cut coordinating card stock that had a water color/ alcohol ink design in shades of pink and purples.   The first panel with a more white space was used as the background and the second piece was used to cut 4- 1/2 x 4 inch strips in the same coordinating colors.  I rotated some of the colors around in a different order and orientation to give a varied appearance.   Next I stamped the image onto the remaining piece of coordinating cardstock.  This particular piece of paper had a slick surface to it, when I stamped in Versa Fine ink, I heat embossed with clear powder to set the ink and prevent any smearing.   The heart balloons were fussy cut and set aside.   Next, I ad...
