INKspirations!

 Hello!  Today’s card is inspired from the sketch from AAA - Challenges, #308.  To play along, click the link  (HERE) This is an A1 - sized card, measuring   (4 7/8 x 7 inches - score at 3 1/2), made from Recollections Craft cardstock. I stamped the Hero Arts Poppy stamp (CM503) in Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink, on Strathmore mixed media paper. Using an aqua pen, I dabbed the brush directly into the Poppy Parade Ink (SU).  The leaves were painted with Gumball Green ink (SU).   The flowers were die cut, and adhered to the front panel of the card.  The sentiment was heat embossed into a piece of Tim Holtz ideology black metallic cardstock.  I loved the pop of gloss from the cardstock.  The circle die is from (SSS) - Artful Palette set.   Have a great week!  Greetings!    I'm enjoying this week by jumping in with another card making challenge.  This challenge is hosted by Weekly Christmas Card Making Challenge, Week 49.  The theme is using snowflakes in the background.   I began my card drawing inspiration from a card designed from Nina Trapani.  Her card is a beautiful tone on tone design with snowflakes and a die cut in the corner.   I loved the intense red on red coloring.  I used a sheet of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I then dry embossed and distressed the edges using a sponge and Cherry Cobbler ink.  The sentiment was added to the upper corner and trimmed with a gold border.  A few gold foil cut snow flakes embellish the sentiment.  Opal accents were added to the foil snowflakes.  Gold acrylic paint was thinned with water and pattered over the finished card.   Thank you for stopping by!
