Hi there! Today’s card was inspired from the sketch at CAS Colours and Sketches #597. To play along, click the link (HERE) This card is also for the Woodblock Wednesday Challenge. To join in on the fun, click the link (HERE) I used the running dots pattern to make a stoplight for Snoopy and Woodstock. This stamp is from Stampabilities woodblock style stamp (2005) GR1097 - Driving Woodstock For my card, I stamped Snoopy on white cardstock, colored with markers and fussy cut. For the dot strip, I used a small circle craft punch to stack each dot 3 times for dimension. The scrap cardstock used for the lights are Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, and Emerald Envy. (SU) The sentiment used is from Taylored Expressions - Gertie and Gus called Ride On. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine onyx black ink and die cut using the slim rectangular die from SSS - Artful Palette - 1587sdc Thanks for stopping by! - Valerie Kaye
I’m glad you stopped by! I have always enjoyed art, and was introduced to card making about 12 years ago. From there, the ability to create a variety of styles provides a therapeutic outlet to each day. You will find several card challenges, and themes which might inspire you to try something new. Enjoy!
