 Hello!  Today’s friendly ghost is inspired from Just Us Girls Challenge # 847. To join in on the fun, click the link ( HERE) I absolutely love friendly ghosts, so I immediately wanted to incorporate the elements of the leaf, the ghost and the cable texture into a card. I actually had a piece of leaf scrapbook paper that worked as the background.  To make this card, I cut a top folding A2 card with Basic Black cardstock (SU). The ghost was cut first, then layered inside the rectangle frame to cut off the excess.  I then cut 3 - panels (one solid orange, the other with the printed leaves, and white ghost) and centered the A2 frame die from Simon Says Stamps.  The ghost was embossed with SU’s Cable Knit - EF.  The eyes were embellished with a Wink of Stella pen.  Hi there, The challenge this month at Unity’s FB - Show and Tell Group is to “Give Thanks.” For my card, I chose Unity’s - Scenic Route Finely Detailed Stamp.   I stamped in Ranger Archival Ink in Sepia, and watercolored the background in with Pool Party ink (SU). Colors Delightful Dijon and Early Espresso ink (SU) were added to the trees and bridge. For a more opaque color, I added acrylic paint in yellow, red and green with a fine tipped brush. After the panel was finished, I added a canvas texture with the Subtle Impressions Embossing Folder. Thanks for stopping by.   I had so much fun creating today’s card for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - THINK PINK!  To play along, click the link  (HERE) I have been wanting to make a pink themed Christmas card, and this was the perfect opportunity to ink up this classy, and sassy gal from Unity - called - Holiday Hustle. (SHOP HERE) For my card, I started with a piece of Multi Media paper, and stamped in Versafine Onyx Black Ink.  I then used an aqua brush and ink pads in Polished Pink, Pretty in Pink and Mint Macaroon (SU), For the fur trim, I used a pipe cleaner and hot glue. The packages were embellished with Silver Glitter Stickles and black acrylic paint for the polka dotted paper. The girl and packages were fussy cut and outlined with a black marker. Hi there! Thanks for stopping by!  I tried a new technique and a fun fold for today’s card.  This is a Side Folding Gatefold Card with a spotlight image. To watch the video where I learned this fold, watch  HERE In the detail of the video you can download load a measurement template.  For my card. I cut and scored the card base.  I then used - SU’s Into  The Woods 12 x 12 DSP.   I used a tag on my flap, and stamped Unity’s - Mice and Cozy  stamp set in Early Espresso Ink.   (SHOP HERE) On a scrap, I stamped again and colored with markers and pencils.   I used a small nesting circle die to create a spotlight.  The colored circle image was lined up with the matching outline on the tag.  Hello,  Today’s card features Snoopy! I grew up with the Peanuts, and still have a few relics from my childhood such as a Charlie Brown Encyclopedia set and Dictionary.  🥰 When I heard rumblings about Peanuts stamps were available with Creative Stamping magazine, I was stoked!  You may still be able to score a back issue:  (HERE) (Inside: You are one of my nicest thoughts - Amuse Stamps - Sampler Set One   (LINK) For my card, I started with a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock (SU), and embossed with the Time Worn Type embossing folder also from Stampin Up. Next, I used this sketch from EMK Creations as the starting point.  The newsprint strips came from the Modern Millnery 12 x 12 Paper Pack.  For the horizontal strip, I used a die from Concord and 9th’s  - Lined With Love Die Set (SHOP HERE)  with Basic Black cardstock (SU).  Greetings!  Thank you for stopping by.  I had another idea using the current sketch for Freshly Made Sketches #757 and created a second card with the same layout.  To join in on the fun, click the link  (HERE) I often save many of these visual designs to help arrange stamps and sentiments, and they have really boosted my creativity.   My second idea was to create something that looked like a legal pad with a note attached to the top.   I started by looking for a soft yellow pastel shade, and used a stamp platform to position the Simon Says Stamp - Handwriting Paper Background stamp with Rococo Rose ink (SU).
