{BYHSC} - 62 - F4A815
Hello!
I made three cards today! (Woo-hoo!!!). Fridays are a nice day to take a little extra time in the craft room and play. Wouldn’t you agree? 😉 These cards are for Week 62 - {BYHSC}, and Splitcoast Stampers F4A815.
I absolutely love this sketch that Crystal designed. When I began cutting paper, I realized I could make two cards with scenery paper!
This paper worked well with Misty Moonlight and Almost Amethyst. Those were the colors used for these two sketch cards.
To make these cards, I followed the measurements given below:
I chose a nice sentiment from Penny Black Winter Wonders (30-087). Using a stamp platform, I stamped in Misti Monlight Ink directly onto the card panel and added iridescent rhinestones for embellishment.
Card Number 2 was made with the same card sketch. I added Almost Amethyst Cardstock as the base
and changed the sentiment. The sentiment comes from the Feels Like Hime stamp set (SU). The die was added over the top. I believe the die is Simon Says Stamp.
And this is the bonus card made mostly from the DSP scraps! It’s the reverse side. I was determined to use as much paper as possible and found a great tutorial using 1 x 1 inch squares.
I had most of what I needed to assemble this card. I just added a third print in silver to balance the pattern. I mounted all the squares on Basic Grey (SU) and trimmed in matte silver (Recollections)
The snowflake is from Stampin Up called Whispering Pines. It is current for 2025.
The snowflakes were heat embossed with WOW - Snowflake Tinsel Embossing powder. It’s white with iridescent glitter mixed in. Very pretty for winter cards.
The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx black ink and stamped onto a scrap.
The panel was mounted onto a white card base (Accent 120#).
The craft room is a disaster, but my heart is full!
