Happy Bee-day TSOT#675
Hi there!
This card is inspired from Try A Sketch on Tuesday’s card layout. (TSOT-#675) I actually had my paper and bees out from a previous card earlier in the week, and wanted to make few cards from this Unity set.
I began by cutting two pieces of patterned paper measuring 4 x 5 1/4. I flipped over the paper and made a pencil mark from corner to corner to form an X guide line. I glued each piece onto a white piece of cardstock with the same dimensions.
The bees were colored with ink pads and an aqua pen and fussy cut. They were embellished with yellow enamel accents.
The sentiment was originally placed directly onto the card front, but a small black triangle made a letter hard to read. I simply re stamped on cardstock with a small circle cutting die.
Stamps: Unity-Bee-Hold Uniquely Unity July 2025
Paper: Stampin up 12x12 DSP It’s My Party Paper Pad, Accent 120# white cardstock
Ink: Versafine
Accessories: Frame die, circle die
You bees are adorable! Lovely papers and color as well. Thank you for sharing at TSOT. (You linked back to TSOT in the gallery - it took a bit of sleuthing to find your blog lol) but I'm glad I did. Great cards, Valerie.
ReplyDeleteHi Valarie, the link you provided us at TSOT #675 took us the TSOT link, instead of your post, which will be difficult for our Design Team members to comment on your card. Could you go to TSOT and are you able to change the link for us so it directs it back to your direct link to this card. Your card is adorable.
ReplyDeleteYou have also met our sister challenge at Double Trouble Thing 1's 3-2-1 "Keep us in Stitches" recipe and the optional twist fun pun as well. If you enter your card here at Double Trouble https://doubletroublechallenge.blogspot.com/2025/07/Challenge-196.html you will have earned four chances to their random drawing.
