Thinking of You - Paper Crew Craft Challenge Vertical Card Layout

 Good Morning!

I have never tried a design like this but loved the small focal point at the top of the card.  For this design, I think the small detail at the top adds just enough embellishment to an otherwise simple card.  The challenge has ended, but was inspired to play with this design on my own.

What is great about this card layout is the center image is showcased so nicely.  I was gifted a pack of Stampin Up's - All About Autumn 6 x 6 Specialty Designer Series Paper, from my mother.  Beautiful photographic papers with images of trees, pumpkins, books and fabrics to choose from.

Aren't these gorgeous?  I love them all!  In this card layout, I could choose an area that I really wanted to showcase.  This card is a top folding style, measuring 4 1/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches.  The center image is matted with a dark brown piece of cardstock and gold mirrored foil for the last frame.  For contrast, I chose a slightly brighter (SU) Lost Lagoon shade, and added a leaf die cut to the center in gold foil.
